[K20D]韌體更新－馬丁の映像攝區

等了快一年多了,

終於又看到Pentax K20D有新的韌體可供更新了! smile28

啥米是韌體?

一定很多人聽過硬體、軟體,但就是沒聽說過韌體,對吧? smile15

簡單的說明如下：

所謂的韌體（Firmware）就是介於硬件與軟件之間的一種本身俱備程序代碼的硬件裝置。一般來說，硬件是有形的物品，軟件則是一堆程序代碼組成的應用程序。一般硬件摸得到、看得到，而軟件只存在與系統、計算機中，沒辦法用手觸摸。而韌體，則是內建了程序代碼的硬件裝置，我們可以透過特定的裝置與方法，執行韌體更新，或透過指定接口來遙控、操作韌體中的設定與功能，查詢目前硬件的運作狀態，甚至執行硬件的設定、升級與調校。一般常見的韌體存在於主機板(BIOS)、光驅、燒錄機、IP分享器、無線基地台、ADSL調製解調器…等信息產品中

因為目前使用的相機是Pentax K20D,所以我也就針對它的更新做分享,

其他型號的使用者就請自己上官方網站去找屬於自己型號的去更新吧!

相機型號：Pentax K20D

更新內容：改進某些SDHC記憶卡在記錄圖像時的穩定性(某些?講的真含蓄耶!)

更新方法：

將下載的執行檔(k20e104w.exe)點兩下執行,產生兩個檔案(readme.txt及fwdc183b.bin)

將fwdc183b.bin複製到一張空白的SD卡中(不用放到任何目錄下)

將包含更新檔案的SD卡放進相機,先按下Menu鍵後再開機

LCD會先出現Now Loading,然後會問Yes or No?當然選YES囉!

當LCD左下角出現Complete時,關閉電源

檢查韌體版本(記得換回一般的SD卡,先按Menu鍵再開機),如果是1.04那就表示更新完成囉!

附上原文的更新說明如下：

Provide a formated SD/SDHC memory card for the update software (with atleast 32MB of available memory space).The downloaded file is self-extracting.The following files are extracted：readme.txt and fwdc183b.bin.Copy the above Firmware file [fwdc183b.bin] to the root directory in the SD/SDHC card.If your computer does not have a card slot, you can copy the firmware update file by inserting the SD/SDHC card into your camera and then connecting the camera directly to your computer.

Insert the D-LI50 battery into the camera and confirm the battery is full by battery level indicator then turn the camera off.

Insert the update SD/SDHC card (prepared in step 1) into the camera and close card cover.

Turn the camera power on while pressing the MENU button.

"NOW LOADING" appears in the LCD monitor, and will change to the "PROGRAM UPDATE". At the bottom of the LCD monitor, CURRENT VERSION 1.00 / 1.01 / 1.03 UPDATE VERSION 1.04 will be displayed.

Press the four-way controller to select "YES" and press the "OK" button.

"UPDATING" appears on the LCD monitor and updating starts.Please do not under any circumstances switch off the power before the update is completed. It will take approximately 90 seconds to complete update.

When update is completed, the "COMPLETE" will be displayed at the left bottom of the LCD monitor, then turn the camera off.

Remove the update SD/SDHC card from the camera.

To check the Firmware version in your camera, turn the camera on while pressing the MENU button.Check that the version displayed in the LCD monitor is "Ver.1.04".The camera automatically starts up after about 5 seconds
